The Gonzaga University School of Law Foundation was established.

The first student newspaper, Class Action, for the law school community was published.

U.S. Supreme Court Justice William O. Douglas delivered the inaugural lecture in the series that now bears his name.

Gonzaga Law wins the “Most Outstanding Student Project Award” by the American Bar Association Student Law Division for the student-funded-and-operated clinical law program.
