Father Frank Conklin was appointed the ninth dean of the law school.
The law school graduated sixty-three day division students in its first class.
Phase II of the law school building expansion was completed at a cost of $250,000 for the new wing (including “The Pit”) and $40,000 to remodel the existing area.
In August, the first edition of the Law School Student Handbook was printed.
The fall semester marked the beginning of the post-graduate study program, leading to the Master of Science in Commerce and Legal Studies.
The Gonzaga Child Development and Day Care Center was initiated with a $2,000 allocation by the Student Bar Association in the basement of the Holy Names Elementary School.
