A cornerstone ceremony was held for the new law building October 19 by Chief Justice Richard P. Guy, Washington State Supreme Court, and Madam Justice Claire L’Heureux-Dubé, Supreme Court of Canada. Madam Justice Claire L’Heureux-Dubé also delivered the 1999 Luvera Lecture.
Gonzaga Law launched its first website.
Chilean Law Professors Luis Ivan Diaz Garcia, from the Catholic University of Temuco, Chile, and Mirtha Lucia Ulloa Gonzales, from Diego Portales University in Santiago, visited the Law School in February.
