Construction of Gonzaga University School of Law’s new building was completed April 15.
First class start date was June 5.
Dedication of the new law school building, October 19.
The Building for the Next Century campaign exceeded its goal of $5 million.
The Law School’s Center for Law and Justice launched the International Criminal Justice Law Clinic (ICJLC) in August 2000 by Professor Speedy Rice. The ICJLC is a legal clinic working on issues of international law and politics with death penalty cases in the United States.
William Moffitt delivered the 2000 Luvera Lecture. His talk was titled, “The Role of Race in the U.S. Criminal Justice System.”
