Col. William Gunn

Col. William Gunn, former chief defense counsel for the Department of Defense and CEO of the Boys and Girls Club of the greater Washington, D.C. area delivered the Luvera Lecture on October 4. In June 2009, Gunn was sworn in as general counsel of the Department of Veteran’s Affairs.

In December 2007, Gonzaga Law School selected the first recipients of its new Loan Repayment Assistance Program (LRAP).

Afghanistan Ambassador Said T. Jawad spoke at Gonzaga Law on March 1.

Revised the mission statement, “To provide an excellent legal education informed by our humanistic, Jesuit, and Catholic traditions and values.”

The Commercial Law Center (CLC) was formed. Professors Linda Rusch and Stephen Sepinuck, co-directors of the CLC, have developed strong connections between the world of the academy and the world of transactional law practice.

Launched the James E. Rogers Law Student Scholarship Initiative at Gonzaga Law.
